About Tranquil House

Tranquil House boasts three elegantly modernized Guest Houses / B&B’s in Queenstown situated at 10 & 121 Berry street and 1 College Avenue. These residences offers gracious accommodation, warm hospitality and exceptional care by the hosts.

At our establishments you won’t get left in the dark during load shedding or that very annoying and protracted power outages as we have a standby generator to power all ceiling lights and television sets, We also have a gas operated geyser for each room to ensure that no one ever goes without hot water should we have an interruption to the electrical supply!

Queenstown – Eastern Cape

Tranquil House provides ideal accommodation for anyone with any business to do in the surrounding district such as Lady Frere, Cofimvaba, Tsomo, Cathcart, Whittlesea and Sada. The small town of Queenstown is centrally located in the Eastern Cape Province with the Hangklip Mountain as the backdrop.

After being overlooked as a holiday destination for many years, interest in Queenstown has begun to develop as more and more visitors discover the unmatched beauty of the landscapes surrounding the town and the numerous attractions and activities Queenstown has to offer.

If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful country setting, with fine touches in hospitality… look no further – Be Our Guest!

Beautiful, neat room.
Lovely place to stay if you are travelling and need to stop overnight – not many dinner options in the town itself but the B&B was absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend for a stop-over in Queenstown!

I absolutely enjoyed the pool. It was the first thing I did once I put my bags down. I enjoyed the cleanliness, the comfort of the bed and the open space. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. From calling Corne to confirm to staff welcoming us and to saying goodbye to staff, we were met with warmth. Many reasons as to why I keep coming back to this particular Bnb everytime I am in Queenstown. The scenery and quietness of this area is an absolute joy.
